Before I go on to end this post, I'd like to give you a brief about Oud...

Oud is reputed to be the most expensive wood in the world and is also scarcely available. Oud is a dark resinous heartwood that forms in Aquilaria trees when they become infected with a type of mould and it is found mostly in southeast Asia. This resinous heartwood is identified as the first grade agarwood.

There are many names for the resinous, fragrant heartwood produced primarily by trees in the genus Aquilaria. Most commonly, the resin is known as agarwood, aloeswood, eaglewood, gaharu, agalocha or oudh (In Arabic).

The odour of agarwood is complex and pleasing, with few or no similar natural analogues. The pathological secretion of the aquillaria tree is a rich, musty woody-nutty scent that is highly prized in the Middle East. In commercial perfumery it's safe to say all "oud" is a recreated synthetic note. You can read more about Oud here https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Agarwood

So that is it guys, it was great pleasure to bring to you that bit of information. Basically, the purpose for this post is to let you know that for your best and carefully selected Oud Fragrances, there is supply very close to you.

You can never go wrong with a bottle of Oud...
